Welcome to Agate Creek Fine Agates

Agate Creek is a world class collecting site that offers agate of exceptional colour, clarity and pattern. Located in Queensland, Australia, Agate Creek is remarkable for the quality and diversity of agate to be found. No other location offers such variety. Banded and fortification agates abound, along with moss, plume, waterline, replacement and inclusion agates. The locality also has thunderegg, banded chert and jasper deposits of note.

Outside of Australia, Agate Creek is known mainly for small colourful agate nodules and thundereggs but there is so much more to be discovered. With a little knowledge and lots of hard work you can still find outstanding specimens in the many agate digs scattered throughout the Agate Creek area.
